Assessments can be a helpful first step in ensuring you’re training and moving in ways that leave you feeling confident and strong instead of sore or discouraged. Consider requesting an assessment to boost your performance efficiently and safely.

Start Swimming Strategically 

2-hour session

If you’re looking to develop a training plan or identify areas for improvement, swimming assessments can provide useful insight. Sara will evaluate your range of motion in key joints, the strength of key muscle groups, and your overall flexibility and mobility to pinpoint the source of pain or discomfort and provide tailored exercises or training programs. Stroke analyses can also identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. 

 

This in-depth session combines a physical therapy evaluation with a detailed video analysis of your swim stroke. Sara will assess mobility, strength, and motor patterns to identify what may be limiting your efficiency or causing pain. You’ll receive targeted exercises and stroke technique feedback to improve power, streamline your form and reduce injury risk—whether you’re training for open water or crushing laps in the pool.

Begin Biking Better

If you find biking uncomfortable or are hoping to improve your performance, consider a bike fit assessment. Starting in July, Sara will examine how your body interacts with your bike when you’re at movement and at rest, and provide advice and education on how to optimize your position on the bike and your range of motion to prevent injury and optimize your riding experience. 

 

Combining physical therapy expertise with hands-on bike fitting, this session evaluates your mobility, strength, and positioning on the bike. Sara will assess posture, pedal stroke, and comfort—especially in aero. You’ll receive tailored exercise recommendations and bike adjustments based on your body’s needs, helping you ride longer, more powerfully, and pain-free.

Run Races Rapidly

Whether you want to get faster or simply learn to enjoy it more, running assessments can be an important way to reduce injury risk and enhance your performance. Sara will evaluate your stride length, cadence, and foot strike patterns as well as your range of motion to identify muscle imbalances and inefficiencies that may impact your form and develop a plan to help improve your technique. 

 

This session includes a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation and high-speed video analysis of your running gait. Sara will look at joint mobility, muscle activation, and running mechanics to uncover what’s driving inefficiencies or discomfort. You’ll leave with personalized corrective exercises and strategy recommendations to improve form, reduce injury risk, and run stronger at any distance.
